The Day Of
- Drink plenty of water the day before and day of your treatment (8-10 glasses the day before treatment and at least 2 glasses prior to your appointment day-of; this eases your blood draw and improves the quality of your plasma)
- Eat a normal meal before coming in, so you are good to go for a blood draw
- Shower and wash your hair before treatment; try to minimize styling product use
1 Day Before

3 Days Before
- Avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as Advil, Aleve, Motrin, Naproxen, and others
- Avoid blood thinning supplements (like Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Ginko, Garlic, Flax, Cod Liver Oil, Fatty Acids, Turmeric)
- Avoid color treating your hair within 3-5 days (your scalp can be irritated post-coloring)
